| The CTL-030KN is a robust and waterproof, battery operated tension recorder that is suitable for measurements of cable tension loads up to 3 tons (30KN). The recorder is designed for submerged applications in seawater. |
| Easy to use, no PC interface units required | ||
| Setting the operating parameters of the CTL-030K as well as data retrieval requires access to a PC computer with a standard RS-232C serial interface. A simple 3 wire cable is connected from the communication connector on the CTL-030K to the PC computer’s RS-232C port. | ||
| 1,5 year of battery life | ||
| The CTL-030K is well suited to long-term recording in demanding environments. External power can be supplied through the communication connector, this will extend the operating time up to 10 years. | ||
| Seawater corrosion resistant enclosure. | ||
| The enclosure is made of a special plastic material (PEHD1000) that encapsulates the aluminium structure of the CTL-030K. Fastening ends are made of Duplex steel. | ||

| Each recorder comes with calibration constants stored in a computer file. Recalibration simply involves editing these constants. There are no internal adjustments necessary. | ||
| Software settable operating parameters | ||
| The iokeys.exe software allows the operator to set the start of recording at once or at a future date. Thus it is possible to save data memory until the recorder is placed at the measuring site. This feature is also convenient when several recorders, which will be installed over a period of time, are required to start recording at the same time. | ||
| Graphics software for Microsoft Windows operating system | ||
| The iokeys.exe software retrieves the accumulated data and processes it in various ways. Data can be displayed, printed and plotted on any output device which is supported by Microsoft Windows. Maximum, minimum and mean tension load values are displayed. The data can also be imported to software from other sources for further processing. | ||
